If only…

Myth: If I only had that raise, If I only got that higher paying job, if I was only paid X more money, then all my money problems would be solved. If I was paid more then I would have more money to do more of what I want.

Fact: Many don’t realize getting paid more money won’t solve your problems. In fact, it only makes your money problems that much bigger.

How does the song go? 🎶Mo money, Mo problems🎶

Why? Because money problems rarely have to do with the AMOUNT of money you make or even have.

In reality, money problems have to do with your BEHAVIOR. It’s what you do with the money you do have.

It’s the reason there are some teachers, factory workers, and farmers who can support their families, retire with millions and leave an inheritance for their children.

It’s also the same reason why some celebrities, actors, singers, and pro athletes end up broke or bankrupt after making millions.

It all points back to managing what you have.

Don’t wait for that raise. Don’t wait for that higher paying job. Don’t believe the lie that more money will solve your money problems.
